Contactless Payments

Arab Bank now offers an easy, fast and secure method which will make your everyday banking transactions and purchases via Arab Bank Cards extremely seamless! Through the different contactless payment methods including; cards, bracelets “BandPay” , Mobile Stickers, and “Knock to Pay” using payment ring you will be able to make contactless transactions and payments from your account securely and on the go.

This feature is also available for the Arabi Junior accounts by offering the bracelets in different colors for kids.

Main Benefits:

  • Fast and secure use of cards, BandPay bracelets, Mobile Stickers, and “Knock to Pay” using payment ring on the ATMs/POS terminals by using the NFC “contactless” technology.
  • Paying at any point of sale that accepts contactless payments with transaction limit and daily/accumulative limit* for safe transacting. Any purchases above the transaction limit will require the customer to enter the PIN code.
  • SMS alerts to keep you in touch with all your cards transactions including the purchases made via contactless payments.
  • Can be used for local and International transactions.
  • Bracelets “BandPay” and “Knock to Pay” using payment ring has a waterproof design with a variety of colors and sizes that suit our customers.

How to use it?

On the ATM

  • First, look for the Contactless logo on the ATM machine
  • Tap your card, bracelet or mobile sticker on the NFC (Contactless) sign on the ATM
  • “Knock to Pay” using payment ring can be used by knocking on the NFC (Contactless) sign on the ATM
  • Enter your PIN code as usual and proceed with the service you want from the list of services provided by Arab Bank ATMs.

On the Merchant’s Point of Sale (POS):

  • First, look for the Contactless logo on any point of sale terminal.
  • Wave or tap your card, bracelet or mobile sticker at the terminal.
  • “Knock to Pay” using payment ring can be used by knocking on the NFC (Contactless) sign on the POS terminal
  • Wait till the tone or the light as an indication that the transaction was completed.

How to request it?

You can request the band, the mobile sticker or replace your card to have the Contactless feature from any of our branches.
