Arab Bank Wins the Companies and Institutions Staff Football Tournament

Arab Bank has won the Companies and Institutions Staff Tournament, which was held recently in celebration of the centennial of the Great Arab Revolt. Arab Bank beat the Aqaba Special Economic Zone team with a 4-3 score in the final, which took place at the Arab Model School in Amman. Mr. Marwan Riyal, Head of Human Resources at Arab Bank, distributed the trophies to the winning teams at the ceremony, in the presence of Mr. Zuhair Tawfiq, President of the Jordanian Sports Federation of companies.
The tournament, organized by the Jordanian Sports Federation of companies, witnessed the participation of 16 teams. The participating teams were divided into four groups, whereby the first and second qualify to play under the knockout system on a home-and-away basis.
Arab Bank team players included Qusay Jarram, Ala Al Keek, Samir Abu Awad, Mohammed Fawzi, Anas Qahoush, Ahmed Samara, Haitham Al Taweel, Huthaifa Al-Najjar, Mohammed Abu Taleb and coach Ehsan Eshtewi. The team also included members of the Sports Committee, which included Nayef Almlad, Abdel Moneim Abu Rdaha and Ahmed Al Khader.
The tournament aims at increasing the bonds of social and educational relations between the companies, as well as spread the culture of football in all provinces across Jordan.
