Arab Bank the Banking Sponsor of New Think Festival ‘Fikristan’

Arab Bank recently sponsored NewThink Festival ‘Fikristan’, under the theme ‘a glance of hope’ as part of its initiatives directed towards the youth segment in the kingdom. The festival took place at King Hussein Park in Amman and was organized by Al Jude Scientific Care Foundation.
NewThink Festival, which was held over two consecutive days, hosted over 200 different events in the lanes, main theatre, and various corners of the park, attracting more than 16,000 young individuals.
The Festival is considered a local event that combines education and entertainment and aims at spreading positive thinking, triggering curiosity among youngsters and encouraging them to develop creative ideas, both on the personal and business levels.
Mr. Tareq Haj Hasan, Senior Vice President - Head of Branding at Arab Bank, commented on the event: “We are very pleased to sponsor NewThink Festival ‘Fikristan’ for the third consecutive year. Our participation in the event is part of the Bank’s corporate social responsibility focusing on the local community, and the youth segment in particular.” He added: “These activities and initiatives are considered effective means to stimulate the youth, encourage leadership and positive thinking and provide opportunities for interactive learning.”
Arab Bank had a special stand at the festival which hosted different interactive activities aimed at stimulating positive thinking and entrepreneurial spirit among the youth.
The stand witnessed a high turnout by young individuals over the two days, many of whom interacted with different educational and entertaining performances being held.
In addition to sponsoring various activities directed towards the youth segment, Arab Bank has designed a special program under the brand “Shabab” to cater to the needs of this segment. The program provides a host of banking and none banking benefits to members in the age bracket 18-25, as well as quarterly draws, discount programs, special prizes and more.
